MOgene Moves Operations to IT Enterprises

This emerging biotechnology company, which signed a lease with the University's new business incubator in February 2009, is focused on understanding the mechanisms of cellular and organismal toxicity of chemical compounds and applying the knowledge to improve safety and efficacy of products across life science industries.  MOgene, LC, uses a systems biology approach to understand gene function in the context of biological networks in order to develop assays and biomarkers for molecular diagnostic solutions that would help address toxicity issues. The company provides microarray services including custom design of arrays, experiment design and detailed bioinformatics analysis. MOgene finished building out their office and lab space and moved into IT Enterprises in April.
